MiraVia’s College Residence is designed specifically for student moms and their children. We provide each mom with her own private suite, free of charge, along with all the amenities of campus life, so she can thrive while pursuing her educational and personal goals.
Located on the campus of Belmont Abbey College near Charlotte, North Carolina, we welcome pregnant and parenting students from any accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States. Student moms can continue attending the school of their choice – in person or online – while living at MiraVia and receiving the support they need to succeed.
Expectant student moms, student moms with a baby under one year old, and student moms who are parenting a child under four while expecting their second child are invited to apply for our College Residence program.
We provide a safe, welcoming home where student moms live and learn alongside one another, build lifelong friendships, receive parenting support, and find the stability they need to complete their education while creating brighter futures for themselves and their children.
Our College Residence provides:
- Private suite
- Meals
- Childcare
- Material assistance (diapers, baby clothing and supplies, nursery furniture, etc.)
- Life-skills classes
- Personalized guidance to gain assistance through additional community resources
- Help in coordinating education and career opportunities
- Peer support from other student moms
