How Does MiraVia’s College Residence Program Work?

While MiraVia’s College Residence program is located near Charlotte, North Carolina, on the campus of Belmont Abbey College, it’s open to any pregnant student attending a college or university anywhere in the United States.

MiraVia’s College Residence program provides a stable, supportive space that helps pregnant women succeed academically and personally by offering the following, all free of charge:

  • Private suite
  • Meals
  • Childcare
  • Material assistance (diapers, baby clothing and supplies, nursery furniture, etc.)
  • Life skills classes
  • Personalized guidance to gain assistance through additional community resources
  • Help in coordinating education and career opportunities
  • Peer support from other student moms

Am I Eligible for MiraVia’s Campus Housing?

If you’re pregnant, in college, and meet the following criteria, MiraVia’s College Residence program might be the perfect fit:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You are actively enrolled in a higher education program.
  • You don’t have a history of drug abuse.
  • You can clear a criminal background check.
  • You have your own transportation.
  • You successfully complete the application and interview process.
