Our College Residence Program is a first-of-its-kind student housing designed specifically to empower pregnant college students to stay in school while preparing for motherhood.
A Miraculous Way Forward
The name “MiraVia” means “miraculous way.” Many of the women who come to us arrive feeling scared and alone. Through our College Residence program, our student moms find a “sisterhood of motherhood” that transforms that fear into hope and ownership of their lives.
What the College Residence Offers:
Located adjacent to Belmont Abbey College, our facility provides a safe, supportive, and family-oriented environment:
- Private Living Suites: We have 15 private suites where moms can live for free.
- Comprehensive Support: Residents receive meals, professional childcare, and life skills classes, including financial management and parenting skills.
- Educational Focus: Our residents can attend any college, university or higher education while living at MiraVia.
- Career & Life Guidance: We provide case management and career guidance to ensure no mom leaves without a solid plan for her future.

The strength of MiraVia lies in its community. For many student moms, being around peers who “empathize and sympathize” prevents the mental “dark places” that can come with isolation. At MiraVia, you are never walking this path alone.
